FOUNDER & PRESIDENT
Vanessa Uzan is Founder and President of UIA Talent Agency. With nearly two decades of experience in talent representation, she had a hand in developing the careers and improving the lives of hundreds of artists. Ms. Uzan is widely regarded as a leading expert in the industry, and is in demand by artists, producers, and administrators to provide counsel with her unique perspective and personal touch. This skill set allows her to build careers that positively impact the performing arts across numerous genres, including film, television, theatre, and opera.
In 2002, Ms. Uzan joined Pinnacle Arts Management Inc. as an Artist Manager, and aided in guiding the company’s growth, building a brand as a reputable boutique management firm for opera singers, directors, and conductors. In 2004, she founded Uzan Corporation and the Uzan Division of Pinnacle Arts Management, furthering her mastery of executive leadership while maintaining direct relationships with the artists she represented and fostering careers of international stature.
Ms. Uzan founded Uzan International Artists (UIA) in 2011 to advance the artist management profession and support top-tier artists. UIA quickly emerged as a leader in personal artist management, assembling a team with over 100 years of combined entertainment industry experience. This team's commitment to cultivating unique talent and navigating the complexities of artist management has set the gold standard for talent representation worldwide.
By 2014, UIA had developed an international roster of over 150 artists, including singers, actors, conductors, directors, and designers. This growth led to the creation of a theatre, film, and television division, culminating in UIA’s transition to UIA Talent Agency in 2019. This transition also included the launch of a literary division representing composers and librettists for opera as well as writers and producers for theatre and television.
In 2023, UIA Talent Agency merged with ADA Artist Management, uniting top experts in classical music and literature. The following year, in 2024, UIA expanded further by partnering with Christopher D. Silveri, who joined as Vice President & Partner in the Film, Television, and Theatre division, after his notable tenure as President of Center Stage Management. This strategic alliance has solidified UIA’s position as a premier, all-encompassing agency for versatile artists, transcending traditional industry boundaries.
These expansions have significantly broadened UIA's scope, enabling the company to offer top-tier talent across various performance opportunities, and allows Vanessa to provide greater opportunities for her clients through cross-genre promotion. Her unique eye for talent provides the industry with the artists the entertainment market demands in this fast-paced and dynamic field.
Prior to her career in talent representation, Vanessa founded Ubiquité Productions producing special events throughout the New York City area and was featured on a BRAVO TV reality program. Earlier, she co-founded the production company, Rustik Entertainment, which created two television pilots Location Vacation and Script to Screen, along with several short films which were shown at the New York, Israeli, Boston, and New York Underground Film Festivals. Vanessa earned a B.F.A. in Film from New York University’s Tisch School for the Arts.
